An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced
SEO Manager
to join a growing digital team in Birmingham.
They are seeking a motivated SEO professional who thrives on developing and delivering tailored strategies that drive measurable results across a variety of client sectors and budgets.
This role will be responsible for overseeing technical audits, content optimisation, keyword research, and strategic planning, while ensuring SEO integrates effectively with PPC, Paid Social, and other digital channels. You'll be client-facing, confident in presenting strategies and results, and able to guide team members in implementing recommendations.
The role will involve:
* Developing and overseeing SEO strategies that align with client objectives.
* Conducting technical SEO audits and ensuring best practice is applied.
* Leading keyword research, on-page optimisation, content planning, and link acquisition.
* Monitoring and identifying opportunities using GA4, with event tracking set up via Google Tag Manager.
* Staying at the forefront of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and the impact of AI on search.
* Advising on how SEO, PPC, and Paid Social can complement one another in wider digital strategies (without delivering PPC directly).
* Liaising directly with clients, presenting performance reports, insights, and recommendations.
* Collaborating with other internal teams (content, design, PR, CRO) to deliver integrated campaigns.
* Ensuring all campaigns are data-led and measured against clear KPIs.
The ideal candidate will bring...
* Proven agency experience in SEO with a strong grasp of technical SEO and on-page optimisation.
* Hands-on experience with GA4 and event tracking via Google Tag Manager.
* Awareness of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) and AI's impact on search.
* Knowledge of PPC and social ads, with the ability to incorporate them into wider strategies.
* Strong working knowledge of SEO tools including SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
* Experience in an agency environment.
