Job Details
* Job Title: Class Teacher
* Location: Chestnut Hill School, Holywell, CH8 9DX
* Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience
* Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
* Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

About The Role
This is a great opportunity for a Teacher who wants flexible working, focusing on each individual and skilled at developing creative learning opportunities for pupils with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding, in a school with a strong safeguarding culture, where pupils are listened to, respected, and involved in decisions.
We prioritize quality in all we do. We are looking for a Class Teacher who shares our vision to empower vulnerable young people in the UK to be happy and to succeed in the world.
Requirements include being educated to degree level and/or holding Qualified Teacher Status, with qualities like calmness, engagement, resilience, and an innovative teaching style. Experience in SEN/ASC environments is desirable, but excellent teaching skills and motivation are equally important.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Educated to GCSE level and A level, or equivalent
* QTS or equivalent
* Experience working with pupils with SEN, especially ASC (highly desirable)
* Experience managing challenging behaviour (highly desirable)
* Experience collaborating within multi-disciplinary teams or with therapists (highly desirable)
