Up to circa £33,000 per annum
Enhanced annual leave
37.5 hours Monday Friday (onsite)

The role will focus around the forecasting and planning activities needed to produce an effective materials and component supply, enabling adherence to the production schedule. The Supply Chain Planner will be responsible for:
Producing effective forecasts for materials demand utilising sales data
Assessing the volume of materials requirements against production planning and planning forecasts
Reviewing monthly forecasts inline with commercial and sales teams
Liaising with suppliers regarding forecasts
Effectively manage stock levels throughout the lifecycle from introduction through to exit
Ensure maintenance and accuracy of MRP data
Managing the supplier purchase order process and ensure all POs are progressed
Working quickly to resolve any material shortages
Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers
Supplier performance evaluations and sourcing new suppliers
Skills and Experience
Must have previous experience with Supply Chain / material planning / Demand Planning/ Supply Analyst / Inventory planning type roles from within a busy manufacturing environment
Strong forecasting and demand planning experience
Experience in using MRP software with excellent Excel capabilities
Experience in developing robust supplier relations
High attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, strong communication skills
