Duties of the Bodyshop Manager:
* Oversee daily workshop operations, ensuring timely and efficient completion of repairs
* Allocate work effectively to technicians based on skills and workload
* Monitor ongoing progress, quality control, and productivity levels
* Ensure repairs are completed to high standards before vehicles move to the next stage
* Coordinate with parts departments, customer service, and VDA teams for smooth workflow
* Maintain high standards of vehicle repair quality, resolving any issues promptly
* Promote health, safety, and compliance within the workshop
* Manage and motivate the team to achieve KPIs and maintain excellent customer satisfaction
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Bodyshop Workshop Controller or similar leadership role within an accident repair environment
* Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and lead a team effectively as the Bodyshop Manager
* Comprehensive understanding of bodyshop repair processes and workflows
* Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards
* A track record of delivering results and high-quality workmanship
* Commitment to customer service excellence and safety standards
