YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE:
* Develop departmental standards and procedures to promote sales and beverage creativity and profit. Assist management in the development and communication of departmental strategies and goals.
* Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members and hotel assets in compliance with the hotels’ or owner’s policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Comply with legislation and local laws regarding health, safety and alcohol services.
* Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
* Promote teamwork and ensure staff are properly trained in quality and service standards. Educate and train all team members in compliance with governmental regulations.
* Ensure security and proper storage of food and beverage products, inventory and equipment, and replenish supplies in a timely and efficient manner while minimizing waste.
* Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards to include:
* Being attentive to guests
* Accurately and promptly fulfilling guest requests
* Understand and anticipate guest needs
* Maintain a high level of knowledge which will enhance the guest experience
* Demonstrate a service attitude that exceeds expectations
* Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
* Appreciate the dynamic nature of the hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers.
* Be able to promote the hotel products and services.
* Ensure known repeat guests, priority members and other VIP’s receive special attention.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
* Previous experience of a management role.
* A strong Food & Beverage background.
* Customer service experience.
* Ability to work as part of a diverse team with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries
