Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician – Automotive Maintenance, Service & MOT Testing.

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Perform diagnostic tests to identify vehicle faults and malfunctions.
* Carry out necessary repairs and replacements of faulty components, including mechanical and electrical systems.
* Conduct routine servicing and maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
* Conduct comprehensive MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines and regulatory requirements. Training can be provided.
* Ensure accurate documentation of all repairs, maintenance tasks, and MOT test results.
* Utilise diagnostic equipment and tools effectively to diagnose and resolve issues.
* Adhere to manufacturer guidelines and specifications when carrying out repairs, maintenance, and MOT tests.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring the proper handling and storage of tools and equipment.
* Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
* Collaborate with colleagues and provide technical support when necessary.
* Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician or similar role.
* Relevant qualifications, such as a City & Guilds or NVQ in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
* Current (or willingness to train) MOT Tester status with a valid MOT Tester License.
* In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems, mechanical components, and electrical systems.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A valid UK driving license.
* Flexibility to work occasional weekends or overtime, as required.
