The Role: As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in driving sales growth by converting customer quotes into orders and developing new business opportunities. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, providing expert advice, building relationships, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities of an Inside Sales Representative:
* Manage inbound and outbound calls and emails with new and existing customers
* Convert quotes into confirmed orders through proactive communication
* Research and identify new leads to grow the customer base
* Recommend tailored solutions based on customer requirements
* Maintain accurate customer and prospect records
* Keep up to date with product knowledge and competitor activity
* Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide excellent customer support
Requirements of an Inside Sales Representative:
* Previous experience in sales (inside sales, telesales, or customer-facing roles)
* Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
* Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
* IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities
* Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven
* Knowledge of electrical products or technical industries
* Experience within the cables sector
