Role Purpose
We are seeking a driven, high-energy New Business Executive (SDR) to join our client’s growing sales team. This role is pivotal in generating and qualifying new opportunities at the top of the sales funnel, focusing on the UK SMB sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting our client’s core services: IT Service Desk Support, Managed IT Services, Cyber Security Services, and Cloud Solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Make 60+ outbound cold calls daily to target SMB accounts.
*
Identify and engage decision-makers, qualifying prospects through effective discovery.
*
Book 8–12 qualified meetings per month for senior sales colleagues.
*
Follow up on inbound enquiries and marketing-generated leads to convert into sales opportunities.
*
Leverage tools such as LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot to research, contact, and nurture leads.
*
Clearly communicate the client’s value proposition across IT support, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions.
*
Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and optimise campaign follow-ups.
*
Maintain accurate records of all interactions, notes, and deal stages within the CRM.
*
Consistently meet or exceed activity and meeting targets.
*
Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving client challenges.
*
Participate in ongoing training to build product knowledge and improve sales skills.

Candidate Profile
Essential Skills & Experience
*
1–2 years’ experience in B2B sales or outbound SDR role.
*
Strong background in cold calling and outreach.
*
Excellent communication, listening, and objection-handling skills.
*
CRM proficiency (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce).
*
Highly organised, target-driven, and resilient.
Desirable
*
Experience within an MSP or IT services provider.
*
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure.
*
Knowledge of IT support services.
*
Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
*
Understanding of the UK SMB market.
