My client builds industry-leading global conferences focused on emerging/high-growth markets and technology innovation. Due to an excellent standing in the marketplace, a role has arisen for an experienced B2B marketing manager with a strong background in email and digital marketing, preferably with experience in events, research, and/or publishing.
The role requires someone with a strong grasp of marketing fundamentals who is looking to develop their entrepreneurial and leadership skills. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating sustainable media partnerships, reaching relevant audiences across all channels, and growing business communities associated with our brands worldwide.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for:
* Response analysis and strategy formulation for each event
* Creating effective messaging, branding, and content to communicate the conference value proposition across all channels, including web and email
* Building long-term partnerships with key industry marketing partners and associations
* Utilizing digital marketing tools including SEO, Paid Search, and Social media
* Using the CRM database and developing list-building strategies
* Performance reporting
* Developing creative approaches to make events engaging, memorable, and impactful
* Managing the events marketing budget
* Collaborating with production and sales teams
The Person
* Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Enthusiastic, ambitious, adaptable, flexible, and hardworking
* Ability to write engaging marketing copy
* Highly organized, methodical, and process-oriented
* Expert in negotiation tactics with senior media professionals
* High attention to detail
* Proven track record of delivering events on time and within budget
* Results-driven, ensuring strategic goals are met and business results are achieved
* Excellent interpersonal skills to engage and influence diverse stakeholders
