Purpose of the role This role is a key member of the team, providing assistance and guidance to 10 unaccompanied asylum seeking young people within a 24 hour supported accommodation setting.
The post holder will be responsible for developing and delivering nurturing person centred support that is bespoke to suit the needs of each individual accessing the service.
The support should assist residents in developing the skills required to settle in to a new area, overcome barriers and learn skills towards independence.
Some young people may have experienced significant trauma in their home country and on their journey to the UK.
Speakers of other languages would be an advantage (especially Arabic) but not essential.
