Join to apply for the Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal role at IVC Evidensia UK. We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at Lincvet, a 3-site, tier 2, small animal only practice. The role involves both surgical and consulting shifts, including caring for inpatients during the day at our main branch. We can support candidates that are looking for consults only as well. We prioritise work/life balance, and we value our staff highly. Part-time hours can be accommodated to suit your needs.
Salary up to £80,000 DOE + £5,000 Relocation Allowance + £5,000 Welcome Bonus.
Responsibilities
* Perform surgical and medical duties as part of a small animal practice.
* Consult with clients and provide case management, with time allocated for inpatients at the main site.
* Support flexible working arrangements, including part-time hours where appropriate.
* Contribute to a nurturing environment with ongoing professional development and case continuity.
* Utilise ultrasound, in-house lab, digital x-ray, tonometer, dental facilities, and a supportive team to manage workload.
Working pattern
A full-time role would involve 40 hours per week over a 4-day week, with shifts of 10 hours. There is 1:3 Saturday duty (08:00–13:00). Our phones are diverted to Vets Now from 19:00–08:00 on weekdays and from 12:00 Saturday to 08:00 Monday. The practice can accommodate flexible schedules to suit individual needs.
About our practice
Lincvet is a 3-site, tier 2 small animal practice with progressive and friendly staff. OOH is covered by Vets Now, and there is an option to hospitalise appropriate, stable cases at the main site on weeknights. Each vet has time at the main branch to operate and manage inpatient cases, with time at other branches to build a client base and ensure continuity of care. We encourage case continuity and provide excellent support to all levels of experience.
Facilities include ultrasound, in-house lab, digital radiography, tonometer, dental facilities with x-ray, and ample support staff. We are a training practice with a culture of learning and development.
