The right candidate will reflect the PJ Care values of Care, Compassion and Commitment. Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role is pivotal in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Lead the full month-end process and produce timely management accounts and financial reports. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, providing support where needed. Deliver financial analysis to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements. Collaborate with other departments across the business to provide financial guidance and support. Produce weekly cashflow forecasts to support liquidity management. Manage annual and quarterly budgeting and reforecasting processes. Coordinate year-end audits and respond to auditor requests. Supervise 2–4 direct reports (depending on experience). Skills & Experience Fully qualified ACCA/ CIMA or nearing completion. Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role, ideally with team management exposure. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency in financial systems. Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards. Highly organi s ed with exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach. Strong communication skills with the ability to lead people and convey complex financial information clearly.
