Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer who enjoys keeping manufacturing lines running smoothly, solving problems at pace, and making real improvements on site?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business where engineering is genuinely valued. You’ll play a key role in maintaining, improving and supporting a busy production environment, working closely with production and engineering teams.
What you’ll be doing
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance, routine inspections and breakdown repairs
Diagnosing faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
Working with a range of manufacturing machinery, ensuring efficiency and reliability
Calibrating and adjusting equipment to maintain precision and product quality
Supporting production teams with equipment set-ups and technical guidance
Keeping accurate maintenance, repair and calibration records
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with H&S regulations
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency gains
Supporting machinery upgrades, modifications and site improvements
Providing technical support and training to machine operators where required
What we’re looking for
A strong mechanical maintenance background within a manufacturing environment
Experience fault-finding and repairing production machinery
Knowledge of CNC machinery, extrusion lines or similar automated equipment
A practical, problem-solving mindset with good attention to detail
Confident communicator able to work cross-functionally with production teams
A proactive engineer who enjoys improving how things work
