HVAP Shift TechnicianCanary WharfUp to £54,000We're partnered with a business who are looking to add a HV Authorised Shift Technician to their team in the Canary Wharf Area. You must currently hold HV or previously been HVAP to be considered for this role.Role responsibilitiesPerform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on critical electrical and mechanical systemsConduct High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) isolation and switching operations in compliance with site safety proceduresOperate and maintain Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, standby generators, HV/LV infrastructure, and precision cooling systemsMonitor and control Building Management Systems (BMS) and SCADA systems to ensure stable and efficient plant operationsCarry out daily plant checks, scheduled inspections, and comprehensive fault diagnosticsSupport the creation and execution of switching schedules, ensuring strict adherence to safety standardsCollaborate with shift teams to respond to system alarms, equipment failures, and operational escalationsMaintain accurate records, including operational logs, work permits, and statutory documentationRequirements for the position:Hold valid HV Authorisation (Or previously been HVAP)Experienced in working in a Data Centre environment or a critical site (Banking, pharma)City & Guilds Electrical Installation Level 3 (Or equivalent) & 18th EditionStrong H&S understandingSalary and benefits package:Up to £54,000 + Overtime available12 hour shifts, continental pattern, Days and nights (7 - 7)23 days holidayPension packageOpportunities to progress within the businessPosted by Luke ClarkTPBN1_UKTJ
