Due to our evolving care and lifestyle delivery, we are looking for passionate Mobile Care Assistants to join our growing care team.
Job Details
* £500 bonus upon passing probation.
* Location: Across Nailsea & surrounding areas.
* A valid full UK driving licence and own vehicle required. Travel expenses covered with mileage paid at 43p per mile.
* Hourly rate: £14.50 per hour, plus up to £1.30 for evening and weekend hours.
* Hours: 16 hours per week on a rota basis covering mornings, evenings and alternate weekends, 7am‑10pm.
About the Role
This dual role combines Personal Care and Domestic Services. You will work closely with the Field Care Supervisor, House Managers and Care Manager to deliver personal bespoke care and lifestyle services, including personal care, household tasks, companionship, wellbeing activities and ensuring communal areas are cleaned regularly. It is a mobile field‑based role with travel between developments; parking is available at each site.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Individual Homeowners: Provide personalised care, assistance with daily activities, personal hygiene, medication assistance and domestic support (cleaning, shopping, household tasks).
* Maintain Communal Areas: Keep communal areas within developments clean, tidy and welcoming.
* Social Support: Assist homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements and appointments, enhancing wellbeing and social connections. Travel expenses are fully reimbursed; mileage paid at 45p per mile.
* Uniform and mobile phone provided.
* Professional Development: Receive training opportunities, including a chance to work towards a Diploma in Health and Social Care and progress to a senior care assistant role.
* Holiday: Up to 28 days inclusive of bank holidays (prorated for part‑time hours). Life insurance and company pension.

Skills & Experience
* Previous care experience and level 2 health and social care qualification preferred but not essential; full training provided.
* Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and effective time‑management.
* Valid full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between developments.
* Can‑do attitude and passion for supporting older people.
