Job Description: Penetration Tester (Remote – UK)

Key Responsibilities
* Perform penetration tests on web applications, networks, and systems to identify security vulnerabilities.
* Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analysis.
* Develop and execute test plans, report findings, and provide remediation recommendations.
* Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and development teams to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed.
* Maintain knowledge of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and penetration testing techniques.
* Assist with security audits, compliance assessments, and incident response activities.
* Document testing procedures, findings, and recommendations in clear, actionable reports.
* Support continuous improvement of security processes and practices.
Requirements
* Must have the right to work in the UK. No sponsorship provided.
* Experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or ethical hacking (0–12 years).
* Knowledge of network protocols, web application security, and common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10).
* Familiarity with security tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Nessus, or similar.
* Understanding of operating systems, databases, and cloud environments.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
