A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis starting as soon as possible. The Role:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
* Contribute to the wider school community and departmental initiatives
* Maintain high standards of behaviour management and classroom practice
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Have experience teaching Geography at secondary level
* Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography
* Be confident managing a classroom and promoting positive behaviour
* Be committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress
* Work well as part of a collaborative department and wider staff team
