Location: Living Planet Centre, Woking, Surrey
Contract: FTC maternity cover (10 – 12 Months)
Hybrid working: Minimum 40% in person collaboration per month
Salary: £43,851 + excellent benefits

About the role

We’re excited to be recruiting a Senior Planning & Production Manager (FTC 10–12 months) to lead the day-to-day coordination and delivery of WWF-UK’s creative production. Acting as the central point for production planning, this role supports the smooth running of the in-house studio while managing logistics, schedules and workflows across multiple creative commissions.

Working closely with Strategic Communications and creative teams, you’ll ensure production capacity, timelines and resources are aligned with wider organisational priorities. From budgeting and supplier management to rights, permissions and risk assessments, you’ll provide the operational foundation that enables high-quality, multi-platform content to be delivered efficiently, safely and in line with WWF-UK’s external affairs plans.

This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role suited to someone who thrives on organisation, clear processes and bringing complex creative projects together.

Skills and experience

You’ll bring the following skills and experience to succeed in this role:

Essential

1. Proven experience in studio, production or creative project management within a creative, media, agency or NGO environment
2. Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
3. Experience coordinating content shoots and managing production logistics, suppliers and freelancers
4. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, working across multidisciplinary teams
5. Strong project and budget management experience, including forecasting and cost control
6. Understanding of production workflows, rights and permissions, health and safety, and risk management
7. Experience using project management tools or production workflow systems
8. Ability to work at pace, solve problems proactively and adapt to changing priorities

Desirable

9. Experience managing international or overseas content production
10. Knowledge of post-production workflows and asset documentation processes
11. Understanding of GDPR considerations within content production
12. Experience using Total Spend Management systems such as Coupa
13. Experience working within purpose-driven or campaigning organisations

This is a UK based contract, and you are required to have the Right to Work in the UK. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer sponsorship and any offer of employment will be subject to evidence of your Right to Work in the UK.

This role is hybrid with a minimum 40% of your contracted hours spent at our beautiful UK head office, the Living Planet Centre in Woking, Surrey, where you’ll hot desk among trees and gardens.
