An exciting opportunity is available for band 5 nurses to join our forward-thinking team in Acute Respiratory Medicine and Care of the Elderly on Ward 3 at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital. We are seeking highly motivated and committed band 5 staff nurses to work on our acute respiratory ward.
We care for a variety of patients with both acute and long-term conditions, including those stepping down from ITU/HDU. Our 28-bed ward offers non-invasive ventilation (NIV), continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP), and specialist high-flow oxygen therapy. We also nurse patients with tracheostomies, laryngectomies, and chest drains. We maintain strong links with hospital respiratory nurse specialists and community staff to ensure optimal treatment and continuity of care.
We require enthusiastic, motivated individuals who can work effectively within our friendly ward team. As Acute Respiratory Medicine continues to expand, we seek staff nurses with the ambition to help drive service development and growth. A commitment to ongoing training and professional development is essential.
If you are motivated to deliver high standards of care and possess the personal qualities and characteristics outlined, this could be the right post for you. We invite you to meet the team and tour the ward.
