About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Histopathologist to join our healthcare team on the Isle of Man. This is a short-term, fixed contract from 24th June 2024 to 12th July 2024. The role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a scenic location while providing crucial histopathology services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform microscopic examinations of tissue samples to diagnose diseases.
* Interpret histological results and provide detailed diagnostic reports.
* Collaborate with medical professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient treatment plans.
* Ensure all histopathology services meet the highest standards of accuracy and quality.
* Maintain thorough and accurate medical records.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
Requirements:
* Medical degree and full GMC registration.
* Inclusion on the Specialist Register in Histopathology.
* Proven experience as a Consultant Histopathologist.
* Exceptional diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
