Overview
Your central role:
1. Review the reconciliation of local financial statements to IFRS and Solvency II for compliance with Group manuals, reconciliation and documentation of results, and ensure integration of findings into ongoing work
2. Support for national and international subsidiaries on content and process issues related to the reporting package
3. Methodological competence for IFRS and Solvency II, quality assurance of reporting data at Group level and responsible contact for the Group auditors
4. Ability to travel to the international entities or due diligence projects (shorts visits for several days and longer visits e.g. 1-2 weeks)

Qualifications required:
5. Successfully completed university degree in economics and/or (business) mathematics, preferably with an international focus and emphasis on external (group) accounting, auditing, insurance
6. Excellent knowledge of IFRS standards (preferably IFRS 17 for insurance) and Solvency II reporting requirements. Specialized knowledge in areas such as actuarial science, taxes, pension obligations, or capital investments is advantageous
7. Excellent SAP knowledge – especially SEM-BCS – and confident with standard Office software
Experience required:
8. Several years of relevant professional experience in a comparable field
9. Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyse and present complex accounting issues in a clear verbal and graphical manner
