Responsibilities
* Ensure all areas of the nursery are clean and tidy, including toilets, kitchen, play rooms and staff areas.
* Clean all surfaces including floors, paintwork, tiles and walls.
* Report maintenance issues that prevent safe and efficient cleaning.
* Manage all cleaning supplies and equipment.
* Remove all bottles and recyclable materials to the correct bin and ensure recyclables are processed.
* Complete high and low level dusting.
Safeguarding
* Committed to safeguarding all children, proactively noticing any concerns.
Job Details
* 16 hours per week, Monday and Friday (3pm-6pm), Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (4pm-7pm).

About the Nursery
MiChild at Sunbeams Nursery is a warm and welcoming nursery in Atherton, rated "Good" by Ofsted, caring for up to 68 children. The facility has been newly refurbished and offers three play spaces for ages 0‑2, 2‑3 and 3‑4, a sensory exploration room, and two outdoor garden areas. Daily activities include outdoor yoga, games and imaginative play. The nursery values teamwork and reflective practice and supports staff well‑being, celebrating achievements.
