Job Opportunity: Interim Finance Manager – Rents and Service Charges
Castlefield Recruitment is partnering with a well-regarded social housing provider to recruit an Interim Finance Manager – Rents and Service Charges. This initial 3-month role has a strong potential for extension.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead all financial activities related to rents and service charges, including setting, billing, and reconciliations.
2. Provide strategic insights and financial analysis to support service charge reviews and annual rent setting.
3. Prepare statutory returns and reports concerning housing income, ensuring regulatory compliance.
4. Collaborate with housing and operational teams to streamline processes and enhance cost recovery.
5. Assist in budget setting and forecasting related to service charge income and expenses.
6. Deliver high-quality financial reports and advice to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in rent and service charge functions, preferably within the public or social housing sector.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
* Experience using housing and finance systems to analyze large data sets.
* Available for interview and to start at short notice.
