As we continue to grow, we are now strengthening our Credit Control team with a Credit Controller (Part-Time) in our Ipswich Head Office on a 7-month fixed-term contract.
Within this role, your duties will include:
* Chasing declined on-board accounts & medical insurance claims.
* Collection of monies from agents to agreed terms.
* Coding of cash, cheques, bacs payments and on-board payments and inputting onto debtor accounts and passenger bookings.
* Allocations of cash, cheques, BAC's, debit/credit card payments, on-board payments and credit notes.
* Ensure that remittances, e-mails, worksheets, letters are files within the Credit Control filing system and/or the Credit Control Drive.
As the successful candidate, you will have:
* Professional experience within Credit Control, Customer Service, Sales or Administration.
* A pass rate (C or 4) in Maths and English at GCSE and/or A Level (or equivalent).
* Chartered Institute of Credit Management training (desirable but not essential).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, for example whilst speaking with debtors.
* A confident, friendly and consistent personality, with the ability to remain patient under pressure.
* Good understandings of a Credit Control function within a company.
* A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Excellent attention to detail skills.
This is a 7-month fixed-term, part-time role, working 27.5 hours per week (9am to 2:30pm), Monday to Friday on a hybrid basis.
