As a Property Administrator, you'll play a vital role in providing support to our services and shops in ensuring that any repair issues for their property or any other property related queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently, working collaboratively with building surveyors, asset managers and contractors to allow our Children's Services colleagues to concentrate on providing care, stability, and advocacy for children and young people who need it most and together with our retail staff are working in buildings which are safe and compliant.

What You'll Be Doing as a Property Administrator

1. Working on the Property Helpdesk via our Business Services Hub to manage, triage and respond to all requests for help, work and assistance recognising significant and relative priority of any one issue within the range of work being undertaken
2. Purchase order and invoice management from conception and issue, tracking to closure
3. Data entry requirements of the Property department across all relevant internal systems
4. Signposting requesters to the correct area of responsibility to obtain the help required.
5. Liaising with building surveyors, asset managers, landlords, managing agents, contractors, local authorities and government agencies as necessary to provide a customer focused, data led service to all our customers both for Children's Services, Retail or any other parts of the organisation who may require assistance.

What We're Looking For

A Property Administrator who:

6. Is keen to work in a large, complex, and geographically spread organisation.
7. Is used to working to tight deadlines and delivering a high-quality service.
8. Has good numeracy and literacy skills
9. Has good data entry and record keeping skills
10. Has general understanding of basic property maintenance requirements
11. Has a flexible approach to changing demands and a willingness to undertake different tasks

Whilst the full pay band and salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band – this ensures that pay steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contribution to excellence and alignment to our values and behaviours.
