Job description
GoTeach Education Recruitment are recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Mentor to work in a specialist provision in Shepshed (LE12).
This setting supports pupils aged 4–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school provides a structured, supportive and therapeutic learning environment focused on behaviour support, emotional regulation and re-engagement with education.

Responsibilities
* Supporting pupils aged 4–16 with SEMH needs
* Acting as a positive role model and behaviour mentor
* Working 1:1 and in small classroom groups
* Supporting emotional regulation and structured routines
* Assisting teaching staff with learning activities
* Promoting engagement, resilience and independence
Requirements
* Experience working with children or young people (University placements count)
* Background in education, sports coaching, youth work or mentoring
* DBS Certificate
* Proof of Right to Work in the UK
* Candidates without a British passport must provide a valid passport and Share Code in line with UK Government guidance
* No sponsorship available for this role
