An opportunity is available for a Document Controller to support a major nuclear infrastructure project based in Whitehaven. The role involves managing project documentation, correspondence and records, ensuring information is controlled, distributed and archived correctly in accordance with strict quality assurance, security and regulatory requirements within a highly regulated environment.
This role would suit an organised and detail-focused individual with document control or administrative experience within engineering, construction or infrastructure projects in a highly regulated environment. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working with structured systems, maintaining accurate records and supporting project teams to ensure documentation and communications meet strict compliance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage project documentation, registers and correspondence in accordance with document control procedures.
Act as the central point for incoming and outgoing project documentation and communications.
Maintain project folder structures, document registers and information within electronic document management systems.
Ensure documentation meets required formats, metadata standards and quality requirements before distribution or filing.
Support document control audits, continuous improvement initiatives and project governance meetings.On offer for this role is a salary of between £35,000-£40,000, with an 8% pension, private medical care and 25 days annual leave.
