Psychology Graduate – Secondary Schools (Newcastle)

£90–£110 per day | Full-time, Term-time

Are you a psychology graduate looking to use your skills in a meaningful way? This role in Newcastle secondary schools is a fantastic opportunity to support young people, gain hands-on classroom experience, and start building a career in education or child psychology.


What you’ll be doing:

* Supporting students with learning, behaviour, and social development
* Providing 1:1 or small group interventions to boost confidence and progress
* Assisting teachers in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Using your psychology background to help pupils overcome barriers to learning


What we’re looking for:

* A psychology graduate (or similar field) eager to work with young people
* Passion for supporting mental health, behaviour, and wellbeing in schools
* Strong communication and empathy skills
* Previous experience with children or young people (youth work, tutoring, volunteering, school placements) is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
