Psychology Graduate – Secondary Schools (Newcastle)
£90–£110 per day | Full-time, Term-time
Are you a psychology graduate looking to use your skills in a meaningful way? This role in Newcastle secondary schools is a fantastic opportunity to support young people, gain hands-on classroom experience, and start building a career in education or child psychology.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting students with learning, behaviour, and social development
2. Providing 1:1 or small group interventions to boost confidence and progress
3. Assisting teachers in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
4. Using your psychology background to help pupils overcome barriers to learning
What we’re looking for:
5. A psychology graduate (or similar field) eager to work with young people
6. Passion for supporting mental health, behaviour, and wellbeing in schools
7. Strong communication and empathy skills
8. Previous experience with children or young people (youth work, tutoring, volunteering, school placements) is desirable but not essential
