Load Bay Operative / Warehouse Operative

Pay Rate: £12.25 - £14.98

We are looking for warehouse operative to join the load bay team and a large transport depot in the village of Sherburn in Elmet.
The role will be on a 3 x shift rotation:
04:45-13:15
12:45-21:15
20:45-05:15
You will be:
- Working closely with lorry drivers to ensure trailers are maneuvered and parked safely
* Securing of Straps & Curtains on the back of the trailers ready to leave the bay.
* Scanning of loads as required.
* Keeping the bays and load area clear at all times.
About you:
*Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
* Confident verbal communicator as you will be working along side the drivers and ops team to ensure wagons are being loading efficient and safely

* This is NOT a picking and packing role. You must consider yourself physically fit due to the nature of the role and heavy lifting in involved.
