Class 1 Driver Trunking - Days Location: Normanton Shift times: Monday to Friday, start times from 6am Pay Rate: £15.96 *As this is a specialised contracted ADR is preferred but not essential* Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. We're looking for full-time, Class 1 Days Drivers to join us at our site in Normanton. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate. What you'll do on a typical day: · Longer distance routes delivery to customer sites and branches. · Safely operate your vehicle adhering to business standards. · Using a hand held scanner and completing relevant paperwork. · Vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with VOSA. What you need to succeed with our client: · HGV1 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), ADR is preferred but not essential · No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements. · A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card. · Multidrop delivery experience. · Excellent knowledge of the UK road network. · A can-do attitude.
