Alyson Homecare provides Specialist Homecare and Supported Living Services. We support adults with a learning disability and or autism with all aspects of their personal, behavioural and social care needs to live as independently as possible.
We develop our services in partnership with Local Authorities and Individuals to meet their identified needs. Our team has extensive experience in working with clients with a wide range of complex social and healthcare needs. Our specialist approach is person centred, compassionate and outcome focused. We value strong relationships with our clients and those that are important to them. We are part of a larger organisation which also provides Specialist Residential Care Services for adults with
Learning Disabilities.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual looking to add real value to someone's life. They will be reliable, motivated, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
We are looking for someone to join our team working with two young males who live in their own home in the SS2 area in Southend on Sea. You will be supporting them with all aspects of their social and personal care needs.
This is an amazing opportunity to join a growing team who are making a real difference to the lives who people living in the community.
What's Involved?
Full time hours preferable, working a range of weekday, weekend and night shifts.
Driving / Escorting (in transport) our service users to attend day centres, trips and activities in the community.
Promoting service user's independence
Supporting activities including cleaning, cooking, budgeting, shopping, days out, holidays etc.
Arranging activities in home and community.
Developing residents' life skills and interests.
Helping residents stay safe and healthy and attending health appointments
Supporting with all aspects of personal care and personal hygiene including continence care.
Supporting with administering medication
Ensuring all care records are accurate and kept up to date. We use a digitalised care planning software for all record keeping.
Can be lone working with on call support.
Full training, mentorship, support and supervision provided.
