Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation, and technology and knowledge transfer. - THE ROLE - The post holder will provide a comprehensive and professional support service to the SPEAR Centre and leadership team. They will be the first point of contact for all Northern Ireland enquiries on SPEAR processes, explaining processes and procedures at Ulsters hub and will be involved in undertaking project work, analysis, and independent planning under three broad headings: Research, Innovation and Strategic Engagement. - ABOUT YOU - The postholder will be required to have: - A good standard of numeracy and literacy, evidenced by qualifications or work-related activities. - Experience of supporting at least TWO of the following areas: quality assurance, internal auditing, inspections by funding bodies, or pursuit of excellence in research and innovation activity. - Experience of extraction and input of data within management information systems/databases, as well as drafting routine correspondence, papers, reports and spreadsheets, and preparation and formatting of documents across different desktop and IT office applications.
