I am currently working with an UK-based healthcare provider who are seeking a bid writer or bid manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader that specialise in employee wellbeing and occupational health to major organisations nationwide.
This role would suit a bid professional who is looking to develop their career in an organisation who can genuinely offer growth. My client is open to any sector background however previous healthcare experience would be beneficial. I am open to all experience levels from junior to management level as my client is open to developing the right individual.
The salary banding is £30,000 - £50,000 depending on experience and is full time office based in Manchester. The package includes 25 days holiday + bank holidays, healthcare, life cover, quarterly bonus & profit share scheme.
The Role (if you aren’t at bid management level, this is the role you will be working towards)
You’ll lead the end-to-end bidding process across multiple business units. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, commercial, and technical teams to craft compelling, compliant, and client-focused proposals. From new business opportunities to retenders and renewals, you’ll be the strategic force behind our bids.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
• Leading capture planning and competitive analysis
• Managing a pipeline of opportunities
• Developing win strategies and proposal content
• Coordinating cross-functional teams
• Ensuring compliance and timely submission
• Driving continuous improvement across the bid function
