Main duties of the job
* Provide direct patient care, including conducting physical examinations and assessments (QOF/PCIS)
* Administer vaccinations for adults and children; assist with other medical interventions
* Cytology – well experienced in smear taking
* Monitor patients' vital signs and document patient information accurately
* Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and self‑care techniques
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records
Qualifications
* Valid nursing license
* Proven experience as a Practice Nurse
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
* Excellent patient‑care skills and ability to provide compassionate and empathetic care
* Proficient in using electronic medical record systems
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment

Person Specification
* Must be a smear taker and proficient in travel vaccinations, respiratory clinics, diabetes, and adult/childhood immunisations.
