Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their dining experience
* Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Lightspeed
* Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
* Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
* Assist in food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas
* Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations
* Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
* Use Cover Manager to manage bookings efficiently in fine dining settings
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy nights or nightclub events
Requirements
* Proven experience in food service roles such as waitress, bartender, or kitchen assistant within a restaurant or hospitality setting
* Familiarity with POS systems including Lightspeed; experience with OpenTable is a plus
* Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to guest interactions
* Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
* Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during high-volume periods
* Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is desirable but not mandatory
* Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or night shifts as required by hospitality operations
