Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. As a Room Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience in our hotel.
Responsibilities
* Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms.
* Restock room supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens as required.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly.
* Ensure that all public areas are kept clean and tidy throughout your shift.
* Follow established cleaning procedures and safety protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or inquiries.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department.
Requirements
* Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Physical stamina is required, as the role involves standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks.
* A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and colleagues alike.
