The role:
As we continue to expand our UK operations, were looking for a technically skilled, ambitious Graduate Technical Manager to support and manage sales of our fire-fighting vehicles into municipal, aviation, military and industrial fire and rescue services.
This is ahybrid role, combining work at ourhead office in Holmfirthwith some customer visits throughout the UK and Ireland, and trips to our manufacturing sites in Austria and Germany.
You will provide technical input into sales quotations and tenders (including producing specifications and pricing in-line with customer requirements), provide solution-based proposals to customers needs and collate and provide all required technical information to support the sales process. For successful sales you will support the Production Team with technical advice and guidance and liaise with the customer on technical issues of the sale, as required.
Required skills:
Candidates should hold a degree or equivalent qualification (HNC / HND) in engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related technical field.
Demonstratable experience working in a mechanical design role would be advantageous, alongside a methodical and proactive mindset and a genuine passion for engineering and problem solving. The ideal candidate will be a driven self-starter with strong communication and problem-solving skills and a clear focus on achieving results.
Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and able to easily commute to our office in Holmfirth. A genuine interest in developing a career in technical sales is essential supported by strong relationship building skills.
The role is ideally suited to a self-motivated, technically minded individual who enjoys working independently while developing and maintaining effective customer relationships.

Training program with option to complete some training at our manufacturing sites in Austria and Germany.
£28,000 - £32.000 per annum
37 hours per week
25 days holiday allowance per annum plus stats (increasing with service)
