What to expect
The Retail Change Lead is a key member of the Retail team, responsible for contributing to the delivery of functional objectives, always modelling the Post Office behaviours, and demonstrating an Operator first mindset. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Retail Change Lead will share their expertise in retail transformation and change management, demonstrating best practice across network access, physical branch change, and operational adoption. Please note due to operational requirement you will need to live in North West England/South West Scotland, Lincolnshire, Birmingham, Leicester, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, Hampshire or Dorset.
The Retail Change Lead will own the end-to-end delivery and adoption of branch change initiatives across their area, ensuring projects land safely, access criteria are maintained, and Operators are supported through transformation. They will embody a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance; with a key focus on delivering network resilience, cost efficiencies, and sustainable operational change that enhances customer experience and Operator success.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in Project Management ideally within a Retail, Construction or fit-out related field: In addition you will possess:
• Experience in establishing successful, cross-functional stakeholder relationships
• Demonstrable experience of leading on the delivery of project milestones to achieve key objectives
• Working knowledge of H&S, CDM, asbestos management, and site management would be preferable
• Strong relationship building and influencing experience across senior internal/external stakeholders (incl. MPs/Councils etc)
• Ideally you will have relevant certifications including PRINCE2/Agile (project delivery), Prosci/CMAP (change management)
