Job Advert Parts Advisor Reading £28,000 pa DOE 8-5pm Monday to Friday Your Role We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Parts Advisor to support our growing team and deliver exceptional service to our valued customers. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about customer care, has a strong understanding of parts operations, and brings a commercial mindset to maximise stock control and sales. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our parts department, contributing to both customer satisfaction and business performance. Day to day, you will be: Greeting parts customers on site, making them feel welcome and providing exceptional customer service Assisting technicians by looking up parts needed for vehicle repair Answering phone calls and assisting walk-ins and wholesale customers with their part needs Tracking and booking in all incoming or outgoing parts for a dealership Locating available parts when the dealership is out of stock and thinking outside the box to ensure we keep customer vehicles on the road Handling parts payment collection and making sure all parts are billed appropriately Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer Refer to parts manual to identify the right part for the make and model and year of vehicles being serviced This role will be a great fit for you if: You have previous working experience as a Parts Advisor or in a parts position within the automotive industry. Have exceptional communication skills and love delivering brilliant customer service. Retail counter and phone experience desirable. You are computer literate and confident using technology.
