About the role
The Trainee Mortgage Consultant programme is tailored to each individual and their own progress.
There are three phases to the programme; initially, the emphasis is within providing support to an established Consultant(s). In phase 2, you will develop the support role further to incorporate research and solution presenting alongside obtaining your CeMap qualification, with the third phase progressing into your own client facing lead handling.
In phases 1, 2, and 3, your duties will consist of:
Phase 1:
* Assisting the brokers allocated to you
* Administration, progression, and case management
* Understanding and complying with regulatory requirements
Phase 2:
* Consultant support responsibilities to be maintained
* Completion of CeMAP 1, 2 & 3 qualification if not already obtained
* To demonstrate that you are able to source new mortgage enquiries and present solutions
Phase 3:
* Demonstrate by observation and personal handling that you are able to progress new business enquiries through to completion
* To achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of a CAS status Private Finance Mortgage Consultant
You will not yet have competent advisor status (CAS) and will be under direct supervision. Once this has been established, you will be able to graduate from the academy and achieve CAS status as a Consultant. You might be expected to continue to perform the duties contained within this job description even after achieving CAS to support the company where required.

* Although some administrative experience would be preferred, full training will be given
