Operations Manager Ramsgate, Kent Full-time | Permanent A great opportunity has opened up for an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to take charge of day-to-day operations across warehouse, logistics, transport, and after-sales. This is a varied and hands-on role where you'll lead a small team, drive performance, and ensure the smooth running of core business functions. You'll play a key part in embedding processes, managing performance, and aligning daily operations with long-term business goals. Responsibilities: Oversee warehouse operations, transport logistics, goods-in, and after-sales activity. Work closely with sales teams to ensure operational support for commercial objectives. Supervise and develop a small operational team across logistics, warehouse, and listings. Ensure accurate product listings and preparation of items for sale and shipment. Monitor and deliver on SLAs and internal KPIs. Implement and maintain SOPs, ensuring processes are efficient and compliant. Manage and improve daily workflows, equipment maintenance, and health & safety procedures. Lead continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency and performance across departments.What You'll Bring: Background in warehousing, transport, or distribution, with experience in logistics coordination. Ability to lead and motivate a small team in a fast-paced environment. Experience with international shipping and understanding of customs procedures is a plus. Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills. Clear communication, good organisational habits, and a proactive mindset. Comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders and embedding operational change.
