Explore Plant and Transport Solutions are a FORS Gold accredited specialist supplier of Transport and Plant Hire services to various industries including construction, rail, and aerospace.

We aim to be industry leaders by delivering top safety, service, and efficiency. Our Transport division has over 50 years of logistics and haulage expertise, and our Plant division offers a diverse, modern range of equipment and tools.


The Vacancy

Identify and develop new and existing revenue streams by implementing targeted sales strategies. Focus on enhancing profitability through building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners, both directly and via intermediaries. The role requires national travel.


Main Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure efficient processes and customer satisfaction.
2. Work with Customer Service to ensure a consistent customer experience.
3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
4. Oversee tender submissions, presentations, and negotiations.
5. Provide marketing feedback to improve business development materials.
6. Utilize sources like tender portals to:
1. Track market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities.
2. Enhance our value proposition across sectors.
3. Stay informed on new projects and opportunities.
7. Communicate market changes to adapt strategies.
8. Develop a business plan supporting growth and profitability.
9. Strengthen customer relationships aligned with their needs.
10. Accurately enter customer data into CRM and produce pipeline reports.

Experience

1. Proven ability to build relationships in the Transport sector, securing profitable contracts.
2. Experience leading or influencing teams, and collaborating across departments with strong commercial acumen.
3. Knowledge of industry sources for trends and developments.


Skills/Knowledge

1. Construction, Transport, logistics, or plant industry knowledge preferred.
2. Strong IT skills – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
