Cityworx are partnering with a leading provider in the health and social care sector to recruit an ambitious Business Development Manager for their expanding Adult Complex Care division. The Role As Business Development Manager, you will: Business Growth & Sales * Identify, develop, and secure new opportunities within adult complex care (CHC, private clients, case managers, local authorities). * Build a robust pipeline of packages of care and high-value accounts. * Lead on tenders, proposals, bids, and client presentations. * Consistently achieve monthly and quarterly revenue and activity targets. Relationship Management * Develop and maintain strong relationships with ICBs, CHC teams, hospitals, case managers, and private referrers. * Collaborate with internal clinical teams to ensure seamless mobilisation of new packages. * Maintain excellent client satisfaction and long-term retention. Market Strategy & Insight * Monitor market trends, commissioning priorities, and competitor activity. * Shape growth strategies to expand the organisation’s complex care presence. * Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and key networking forums. Collaboration & Internal Leadership * Work closely with care coordinators, nurses, and recruitment teams to support service delivery. * Provide commercial insight and strategic direction to internal stakeholders. * Produce accurate weekly and monthly forecasts for senior leadership. About You Essential * Proven success in business development within adult complex care, homecare, or clinical healthcare services. * Strong understanding of CHC pathways, ICB structures, case management, and commissioning processes. * Demonstrable experience winning and mobilising complex care packages. * Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. * Commercially focused, self-motivated, and target-driven. Desirable * Existing relationships with CHC teams, case managers, or private care networks. * Experience securing high-value, long-term care contracts. * Knowledge of CQC requirements and compliance within homecare services
