We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Health, Safety & Compliance Consultant to support our flagship clients with a broad range of services. This role requires strong consultancy skills, training delivery, compliance auditing, customer relationship management, and internal quality oversight. You will be responsible for ensuring client and internal standards meet legislative requirements and best practices across health & safety, transport, and quality management.
Key Responsibilities
Health & Safety Consultancy
* Provide expert health and safety consultancy services to flagship clients.
* Develop, review, and update Health & Safety Management Systems including policies, Safe Working Procedures (SWPs), and risk assessments in line with current legislation and industry best practices.
* Deliver health and safety-related training (e.g., Fire, First Aid, general H&S) both virtually and in person.
* Create and maintain training content, including video materials and supporting documents.
* Review and update training materials annually to ensure legal and practical relevance.
* Maintain accurate records of FAQs and report key insights to management.
Transport & Compliance Consultancy
* Provide transport consultancy services, including support with Operator Licences and FORS/Earned Recognition compliance.
* Conduct compliance audits (O Licences, FORS, ER) and tachograph analysis for operators.
* Assist clients with accreditation processes and ongoing compliance management.
Training Delivery & Support
* Deliver Driver CPC training sessions in both virtual and face-to-face formats.
* Support training follow-ups: collect and process feedback, issue certificates, and manage training records.
* Upload and manage learner data on internal systems or relevant platforms.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
* Build and manage strong relationships with clients, ensuring the highest level of service.
* Respond to client support requests via phone and email, providing timely and accurate assistance.
* Conduct telemarketing and customer follow-up activities across all services.
* Gather and report client and prospect feedback to inform service development and sales strategy.
Quality & Internal Systems Management
* Manage Flagship’s internal health and safety procedures, documentation, and staff training.
* Oversee and maintain Flagship’s Quality Management System, including ISO accreditation.
* Write reports for senior management as needed.
* Operate, maintain, and improve the CRM system including data integrity, automation, and workflow improvements.
Administrative & Marketing Support
* Process orders and deliveries, liaise with suppliers, and handle purchase invoice administration.
* Support marketing efforts, including engagement on personal/professional pages (e.g., LinkedIn).
* Perform other duties as reasonably requested by senior management.
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance frameworks.
* Experience in delivering professional training, ideally including CPC and First Aid.
* Understanding of transport industry compliance, including FORS and Earned Recognition.
* Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship management skills.
* Competency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital training tools.
* High level of organisation and attention to detail.
