What skills and experience we're looking for
The School Business Manager will be responsible for operational functions within the school, including finance, administration, HR, premises, contracts, and Health & Safety. The role includes:
1. Working closely with the head teacher, senior leadership team, and Governors
2. Providing accurate and timely financial reporting
3. Ensuring compliance with legal requirements through appropriate systems and policies
4. Providing line management for the office team and Premises Officers
5. Managing and improving the estate, including maintenance and capital projects
6. Managing third-party supply contracts, including IT, HR, H&S, cleaning, and catering, ensuring high-quality service and value for money procurement
