Job Description


We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Stirling, United Kingdom. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to contribute to our kitchen's success in a Monday to Friday role.

* Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef and sous chef, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
* Manage your designated station, overseeing the production of all assigned dishes
* Maintain high food safety and sanitation standards at all times
* Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and efficient operations
* Assist in menu development, offering creative input and suggestions for improvement
* Ensure proper stock rotation and minimise food waste
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, particularly in your designated area
* Mentor and support junior kitchen staff as needed
* Adapt to changing menu requirements and seasonal ingredients
* Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge

Qualifications

* Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Chef de Partie in a professional kitchen
* Comprehensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
* Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices, with relevant certifications (e.g., Food Hygiene Certificate)
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* Creativity in dish presentation and flavour combinations
* Flexibility to adapt to changing menu requirements and seasonal ingredients
* Physical stamina to stand for long periods and work in a hot kitchen environment
* Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery or equivalent qualification (preferred)
