Overview
We're seeking Project Technical Leads (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering) that are interested in supporting our exciting work across the regulated water industry. With AMP8 already underway, we have opportunities to become an important part of our growth plans in Brighton, Ashford, Kings Hill & Southampton. This is your chance to: form & lead multidisciplinary project teams whilst coordinating design & project delivery; work on exciting water projects that push boundaries and make a significant impact; partner with top water clients across the UK, shaping the future of the industry. Responsibilities
* Coordinate upfront design and project delivery, working closely with Project Managers and technical experts across our multidisciplinary teams.
* Lead in the design & implementation of principles to improve health, safety & wellbeing outcomes in project design.
* Ensure technical resources are assigned & supported.
* Contribute toward development of marketing & business development activity.
* Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate design & project delivery for water sector projects (clean water treatment and networks, wastewater treatment, wastewater networks, flooding, and urban drainage).
* Engage with clients and collaborate with stakeholders on innovative and sustainable solutions, delivering best value and client service excellence while monitoring quality, compliance and efficiency of deliverables.
Context and Projects
Our national design teams are involved in large partnership initiatives such as Hull and East Riding's Living with Water partnership, award-winning projects such as the Clifton Integrated Constructed Wetland, and other UK-wide opportunities. Locally, this includes Southern Water's AMP 8 Professional Services Framework.
Qualifications
* You will have experience of working in a similar role within the water sector, or other relevant regulated industry.
* You will be a degree-qualified (or equivalent) engineer and ideally be chartered, or a member of a relevant engineering institution (e.g., ICE). Support can be given to achieve this if required.
