Role
You will provide a flexible, open‑ended package of support, advice and assistance to people who are entrenched rough sleepers or are at risk of repeat homelessness. You will support individuals to be accommodated in their own accommodation under the Housing First Scheme and throughout their housing pathway. You will lead a multi‑agency support approach, working closely with drug and alcohol, mental health and other agencies to ensure appropriate support for complex‑needs individuals.
The successful candidate will promote a customer‑centred approach and work with vulnerable customers, their advocates, family and support networks to prevent homelessness, reduce rough sleeping and end cycles of homelessness in East Suffolk.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Relevant qualification in the sector, ideally a CIH Level 3 Housing qualification or equivalent.
* At least 3 GCSEs at grade C or above.
* Proven track record of working in housing or care and support roles.
* Relevant or transferable skills and the ability to provide housing advice and assistance to customers.
