About The Role
To maintain the hygiene standards which are required within the client site, through plant and environmental cleaning.
Main duties and Responsibilities
* To carry out all cleaning tasks as detailed by the Cleaning Instruction Cards / work schedule, to agreed standard, as directed by the Hygiene Supervisor/Relief Hygiene Supervisor/Site Hygiene Manager
* To carry out all tasks with due regard to the contract specification and all legislation including Health and Safety, and Personal Hygiene.
* To ensure correct materials, equipment and methods are used at all times and equipment is kept clean and in good working order.
* Report faulty machinery / equipment immediately to your supervisor.
* To ensure company / client provided uniform is kept clean and tidy and is always worn whilst at work.
* To use every effort to develop and maintain effective working relationships with our customer and your colleagues.
* To ensure that all machinery is Isolated / locked off prior to cleaning, as trained.
* Correct use "as trained" of hazardous chemicals – acids / alkalis
* To attend training as required by your Line Manager / supervisor.
* Report all accidents and 'near misses' to your Line Manager / supervisor.
Skills & Experience required
* Comfortable working alone and as part of a team
* Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload
* Cleaning experience would be preferred however full training will be provided
* A good understanding of English, both written and spoken
