Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnering with a Private Equity backed, business to help appoint a Chief Financial Officer. They are currently at £40million revenue and looking to scale the business over the next 3-5 years. Responsibilities: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organisation's overall strategic objectives Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulatory requirements, and preparation for external audits Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize capital structure to meet operational needs efficiently Review and enhance financial controls and processes to mitigate risk and safeguard company assets Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Provide financial analysis and guidance to support business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate potential investments, partnerships, and M&A opportunities Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and strategic financial management Establish and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) Proven track record of success in a CFO, FD, or similar executive financial leadership role Deep understanding of financial and accounting principles, procedures, and best practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate financial information to non-financial stakeholders Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
